Wow....., it was quite better than my expectations.... I hoped I had found this place sooner when I lived in the area!!!! Away due to work, I came back for a quick visit to see my brother at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church(father Binh). We went out for lunch and since he liked Korean food I picked this one due to the close proximity to his church, and it was surprisingly good, I mean, not like Americanized; they kept great Korean flavors and taste, and Korean service attitude!!!!! A gem in an unexpected neighborhood Will definitely come back whenever I come to the area!!!!
We love finding hidden gems , and @gangnamtofuhouse is definitely one in the city of Fremont! They have the best banchan selections and everything is made from scratch so you know you’ll be getting a homey meal. We’ve never had bulgogi in our tteokbokki before and now we can’t think of having it any other way! It’s a small cosy restaurant All the dishes were super comforting and the service is quick and friendly. You’ll be full, but leave wanting more because we definitely can’t wait to come back to try the other items! They are also sister restaurant to @chachacha_fremont which is right next door so you can grab boba and dessert after. The best pairing and place to go so you don’t have to think of what to do next! - — ???????????????? ???????? ???????????????????????????? — - ∿Tteokbokki Bulgogi ∿Cheese Corn ∿Kimchi Pancake ∿Beef Bibimbap ∿Spam and Sausage Tofu Soup
Our second time here! The free appetizers are refillable and it is so fresh and so many of them! The tofu soup is very delicious! Also the service is extremely good! The lady keeps checking in with us! It will be our top choose for tofu soup and Korean food for sure!
Not too bad, surprised me with diet accommodation i asked for. I saw good and bad reviews, but since it was next to chachacha, i tried it. I can see myself coming again. There was just 2 workers on an afternoon and a few dine in guest. The 2 workers looked quite busy. I just hope they are not too worn out, and can keep up with sanitation/hygiene. The reason for other 1 star reviews On a good note, the rice was mixed with black rice which is nice. Accommodated my diet request, greatly appreciate that. Veggies are pretty good and tasty. Im pretty happy with purchase and food. I just hope boss can keep up with sanitation because i read reviews that the neighboring restaurants saw pest (bugs). The boss can probably handle hiring more workers, because the business seems pretty good here. If needed.
These guys are great, good food good portions and excellent service. We got the spicy beef soup and spicy rice cake appetizer with beef. Not too spicy but still very flavorful and delicious. Give these guys a try they don't disappoint.
Food was great. Love the side dishes and people rice. Kalbi has good flavor. Tofu soup was great too.
This place is a hidden gem for sure. We came in after getting coffee at the place next door and were welcomed warmly by staff. We ordered the kimchi pancake, pork belly, bibimbap, and the mandu tofu soup. Everything came out fast and piping hot. It was genuinely such an enjoyable meal with the quality & flavor of the food. The variety and portions of banchan is also such a great deal. Get the pork belly, you will not regret it!
Whenever I travel to my bestie’s place at Fremont we always stop by at this restaurant for their Tofu soup and generous portions of side dishes. Loved the spicy kimchi today and the host served extra kimchi Love how great the folks were at this place. Stopping by again next time!!
